After lots of hard work by the management team at the Amasteel manufacturing plant in Glaubitz, we were delighted to receive confirmation recently that our ISO 50001:2018 accreditation has been renewed to 2026. Both manufacturing plants in Germany are accredited as our Stainless steel abrasive manufacturing operation at Sprockhövel has been accredited since 2015 and Glaubitz since 2014.
The ISO 50001:2018 accreditation is awarded to organisations committed to addressing their impact, conserving resources and improving the bottom line through efficient energy management.
Commenting on the award, René Spandler, Plant Manager Glaubitz said “I am very pleased to see the hard work of the whole team recognised by the ISO 50001:2018 accreditation. We have made big steps to improve our energy efficiency at Glaubitz and have further innovations in development as part of the ongoing Ervin commitment to sustainability.”
